8 plus 5 is 13, Dad!
Yesterday my wife and I needed to go somewhere, but our thirteen year old daughter who usually babysits for us was gone. We were wondering what to do because our other kids are all younger when Kai chimed in: "Mimi's 8 and I'm 5. That makes 13 so we can stay by ourselves Dad." Good one buddy. I'll have to remember that line of reasoning when DCFS shows up...

Smart kid!!!! My kids try telling me that we don't live by any cops, so it's okay if I leave them home alone....
